Terms and Conditions for the sale of Conference services

I. Glossary of Terms

  1. Organizer – Gdańsk University of Technology, with its registered office at 11/12 Gabriela Narutowicza Street, 80-233 Gdańsk, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 5840203593, REGON (Business Registry Number): 000001620, acting as the organizer of the conference and a party to the sales agreement.
  2. Co-organizer – FUNDACJA "GEOTECHNIKA W BUDOWNICTWIE I OCHRONIE ŚRODOWISKA" (Eng. "GEOTECHNICS IN CONSTRUCTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION" FOUNDATION), with its registered office at 11/12 Gabriela Narutowicza Street, 80-233 Gdańsk, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 9571055559, REGON (Business Registry Number): 221246661, KRS (National Court Register number): 0000386442, acting as the co-organizer of the conference and a party to the sales agreement, responsible for accepting payments for the conference service.
  3. Client / Buyer – a natural person, legal entity, or organizational unit purchasing a service to participate in the conference via the website or through a payment link.
  4. Website – the official website of the event, through which one can register for the conference and make a payment.
  5. Service – the right to participate in a conference event organized by the Seller.
  6. Terms and Conditions – this document, which sets out the rules for the sale and provision of services by electronic means.

II. General Information

These Terms and Conditions define the rules for placing orders, making payments, withdrawal from the contract, complaints procedure, and personal data processing in connection with the sale of conference services.


III. Purchase and Payment Methods

  1. The purchase of a conference service may be made:
    • via a payment link sent by email to the Client by the Organizer,
    • or

    • through a purchase panel on the website.
  2. The Client makes the payment using the secure PayU payment system.
  3. The service is provided once the payment has been received and recorded.

IV. Order Fulfillment

Confirmation of conference participation will be sent via email within a maximum of 5 business days from the date the payment is recorded.


V. Right of Withdrawal

  1. The Client has the right to withdraw from the contract without providing any reason within 14 days from the date of purchase.
  2. Only services cancelled no later than 14 days before the scheduled date of the event are eligible for a refund.
  3. The withdrawal request (TEMPLATE) must be sent to the following address: wetpol2025.wilis@pg.edu.pl.

VI. Complaints

  1. Complaints should be submitted to the following email address: wetpol2025.wilis@pg.edu.pl.
  2. Complaints will be reviewed within 14 business days.
